We have launched VendNGo, a hybrid ecommerce platform for Retail industry. VendGo is a popup retail concept with infrastructure for cloud kitchens and automated fulfilment through a kiosk. It support touchless ordering from multiple restaurants in a single order.
VendnGo aims to provide customers with an omni channel eating experience. We started VendnGo to solve a problem I encountered during a trip to India. Because I’m a foodie who loves to try new regional culinary treats, I was really bummed when Omicron surged in mid-December. In Trivandrum, the lines for takeout were often unbearable, and delivery people from food aggregators were fighting with people in front of shops to get their orders on time. My orders were often messed up, and I wasn’t able to find parking or the restaurant was restricted in their serving capacity, which meant I had to go back again. I thought there should be a better way to order from multiple restaurants in a single order and delivered to a place where I can conveniently pick up on my own.
A biryani with a soup in the beginning followed by an ice cream falooda at the end would be what a foodie like me enjoys. I tried this in one of the delivery app and I got dessert served before the main course by a driver who was sweating profusely in the sweltering heat of Trivandrum.This got me thinking. What if the ordering process become totally asynchronous.? I know that I want to eat at 8:30 PM and I need the convenience and reliability of getting what I ordered.
What if order and somebody verifies my order and delivers it to a place where I can conveniently pick up from my car. What if I can combine orders from multiple restaurants and follow what my food palette is dictating , soup from Chinese restaurant, Biryani from Paradise and Falooda from Falooda nation. All restaurants located at different corners of the city. This is what VendnGo provides – an omni channel platform for restaurant industry with ordering, tracking and delivery to a pickup kiosk near you.
