CAD Viewing, Review, and Drawing Workflows —
Integrated into Your Business Systems
We implement Autodesk Platform Services to give your teams web-based access to CAD and BIM models, automated drawing extraction, and AI-powered review workflows—without replacing your design tools.
Book a Discovery Call →Who This Is For
Engineering and operations teams at manufacturers, construction firms, and engineering contractors who need to unlock the data inside their CAD/BIM files for review, approval, estimation, and downstream automation—without requiring every stakeholder to own a seat license.
The Problems We Solve
Slow Review Cycles
Drawing reviews require stakeholders to have desktop CAD software. Version confusion, email attachments, and manual mark-up slow approvals by days or weeks.
Rework from Change Management
Engineering change orders aren’t propagated consistently. Downstream teams—manufacturing, procurement, QA—work from outdated drawings.
Manual Data Extraction
BOM data, part attributes, tolerances, and assembly relationships are locked inside CAD files. Extracting them for ERP or estimation requires manual effort and is error-prone.
No AI Pipeline on Design Data
AI agents for takeoff, estimation, or maintenance planning can’t access drawing content without a structured data pipeline from CAD to your business systems.
What We Deliver
Web-Based CAD/BIM Viewer
Embed the Autodesk Viewer in your web application. Supports Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion, NWC, IFC, and 50+ formats. No CAD license needed for reviewers.
Markup & Annotation Workflows
2D redlines and 3D markup, comment threads tied to geometry, version comparison, and approval sign-off flows—all without leaving the browser.
Model Derivative API Pipelines
SVF/SVF2 translation, object tree extraction, property manifest extraction, and thumbnail generation. Structured output for downstream search, AI, or ERP ingestion.
Drawing-to-BOM Automation
Extract part numbers, quantities, materials, and assembly structure from drawings automatically. Feed structured data to ERP, estimation tools, or procurement workflows.
Change Tracking & Diff
Detect what changed between drawing revisions at the element level. Notify affected teams and trigger downstream workflows automatically.
AI Drawing Intelligence
Connect extracted CAD data to AI agents for takeoff, RFQ generation, maintenance planning, and inspection routing. Your design data becomes an active input to business decisions.
Technology Stack
We implement on top of Autodesk Platform Services (formerly Forge) using open standards and cloud-native patterns.

Opportunity Sprint — 2 weeks
We audit your current drawing workflow, identify the highest-value integration point (viewer, extraction, or AI pipeline), define the architecture, and deliver a working prototype on your actual files.
Pilot — 30–45 days
Deploy the integration in your environment with real users. Wire it to your ERP or downstream system. Measure time-to-review, extraction accuracy, and error reduction against your baseline.
Scale — 60–90 days
Expand to additional file types, drawing workflows, or AI use cases. Add change tracking, approval routing, or BOM-to-ERP sync. Harden for production with monitoring and governance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need an Autodesk subscription to use this?
You need APS (Autodesk Platform Services) API access, which is separate from and much cheaper than desktop seat licenses. Reviewers and downstream users access drawings through the web viewer without any Autodesk license. We help you set up the right APS tier for your volume.
Which CAD formats are supported?
APS supports 50+ formats including AutoCAD (DWG/DXF), Revit (RVT), Inventor (IPT/IAM), Fusion 360, SolidWorks, STEP, IGES, IFC, Navisworks, PDF, and more. If your format is supported by APS, we can pipeline it.
How long does implementation take?
A basic viewer integration with markup takes 2–3 weeks. A full pipeline including model derivative processing, BOM extraction, and ERP integration typically takes 6–10 weeks depending on the complexity of your target systems.
Can this connect to our existing ERP or PDM system?
Yes. We’ve integrated APS pipelines with SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, and custom systems via REST APIs. The extracted data (BOMs, part properties, assembly structures) is normalized to JSON and can be mapped to any target schema.
What’s the difference between this and just using Autodesk Construction Cloud?
ACC is a project management and document control platform. APS Integration means building the viewer, data extraction, and workflow logic into your application or portal—so it works within your existing user experience, connects to your business logic, and feeds your AI agents and ERP rather than living in a separate Autodesk product.
